Dr. Rachel Burnett is an Indiana licensed Audiologist. Dr. Burnett received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Communication Sciences at Purdue University. She continued her education earning her doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Louisville which included extensive training in hearing aids and balance assessments. While pursuing her doctorate, she completed research on probe-mic measurements that was published in an audiology journal: Audiology Practices.
Dr. Burnett has over 12 years experience in private practice where she focused on treating hearing loss with hearing aids. She has a passion for helping people reconnect to their loved ones and activities through better hearing. She believes in taking a personalized approach and using the best standards of care for each individual. For four years, Dr. Burnett received a Provider of Distinction Award due to her exceptional patient care.
In addition to working with patients, Dr. Burnett also had the privilege to coach audiologists across the nation both in-person and via telehealth. She is passionate about mentoring other providers to help them feel confident in delivering excellent patient care. She believes education is the first step to better hearing and has presented at her local Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) meetings and published several educational editorials in a local magazine.
In her personal time, Dr. Burnett spends time with her husband enjoying new foods, playing board games, being outdoors, and traveling.
