Beth Hester, MS, CCC-A
Audiologist
Beth Hester is an audiologist certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. She has lived in the Wayne County, Indiana area her whole life. Beth attended Purdue University, where she received a master’s degree in Audiology in 1992. At that time, she began her career as an audiologist, working first in nursing homes and then for an ENT physician for several years. She joined IHAC in 2019.
An experienced hearing aid problem solver, Beth is fascinated by both the patients she is helping and the vast technology currently available to help them.
Outside of audiology, Beth loves spending time at the lake with her family, reading, and enjoying her cats.
Matthew Goldsberry
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Matthew Goldsberry is a graduate of Anderson University. He began his professional career in mortgage lending before starting his career in the hearing healthcare industry. Matthew worked as a licensed hearing aid specialist in Champaign, Illinois and in Chicago, IL. Since 2016, Matthew joined Indiana Hearing Aid company after relocating with his family back to the Indianapolis area.
“I feel called to the hearing healthcare arena. I enjoy it because you get to meet people, help people, and I get to learn about all the latest hearing aid technology,” he said. “I love helping people hear better and see them enjoy life more with better hearing. Honestly, it’s addictive.”
Having worked in tech support, Matthew loves his career in the hearing sciences because it combines his love of technology with his passion for helping people. “I love learning about new technology, and I enjoy reconnecting people with their loved ones – so they can rediscover the joy of life through better hearing.” Matthew and his wife have four children. Matthew is a soccer coach and a chauffer for his kids’ sports activities.
Amy Markey
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Amy Markey is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist at Indiana Hearing Aid Company in the Shelbyville and Franklin offices. Amy is a 2000 graduate of Indiana State University and is a proud member of the International Hearing Society and the Indiana Hearing Aid Alliance. Amy joined the Indiana Hearing Aid Company staff in March of 2020. Amy strives to improve the quality of life of her patients and their families by providing the best hearing solutions.
As a mother herself, she extends her nurturing care to all her patients by dedicating herself to the long-term aftercare of both patients and their hearing instruments. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her husband and daughter riding bikes, playing games, or singing karaoke.
Josh Rothwell
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Joshua Rothwell is a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Joshua grew up in Johnson County and has lived there most of his life. Joshua attended Edinburgh High School and started working at Indiana Hearing Aid Company in 2017. Joshua was drawn to the hearing industry because of his passion for helping people.
What Joshua loves most about saving hearing lives is seeing the impact it has on the patient’s relationships with their families. Joshua focuses on improving communication, especially in noisy situations, in his everyday work with patients.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Joshua loves hobbies such as hiking, camping, and anything spent while with the family.
Michael Martin
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Michael Martin is a Hearing Instrument Specialist and licensed in Indiana and Ohio. He is from Indianapolis where he attended Perry Meridian High School, and graduated from Purdue University.
Michael has been helping people reconnect with their families for nearly a decade. He has helped more than a thousand people hear better – as a Specialist, trainer and factory representative. Outside of work, Michael is licensed pilot and an avid cyclist.
Bryan Seals
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Bryan J. Seals is a Hearing Instrument Specialist licensed with the state of Indiana and he joined Indiana Hearing in 2022. Bryan is originally from Peebles, OH and moved to Indianapolis IN in 2014. He began working in the hearing industry in 1998 by running the hearing conservation program while stationed aboard the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63. After a 10 year run of trying different professions, he returned to the profession through encouragement from family already in the field.
What Bryan loves most about saving hearing lives is the look on a patients face when they hear clearly again for the first time. He strives to learn as much as possible to better help in his everyday work with patients.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Bryan loves spending time with his kids and family, drawing, cooking / baking, gardening, and yard work.
Kara Horniacek, BC-HIS
Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist
Kara Horniacek is a board certified Hearing Instrument Specialist who is excited to work with Audibel at Indiana Hearing Aid Company at the East Washington St. clinic.
Kara grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She studied Health Science at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin and later focused on Hearing Instrument Science at the Hearing Aid Academy.
Kara holds hearing health care near and dear to her heart since learning of her own child’s hearing loss as a toddler. She has seen the profound impact that hearing aids can make on individuals, as well as on their loved ones.
When not saving hearing lives, Kara can usually be found spectating at one of her kids’ many sporting events or tending to her abundance of houseplants. Kara and her husband have 3 kids, dog Bex, and cat Dexter.
Nathan Evans
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Nathan Evans is a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Nathan is originally from Findlay, Ohio and moved to Indianapolis in 2021. Nathan is a 10-year veteran of the hearing industry and has worked in clinics from southern California to northern Wisconsin and joined Indiana Hearing Aid Company in 2024. Nathan began working in the hearing industry in 2014 and was drawn to the profession after seeing three generations of his family deal with hearing loss.
What Nathan loves most about his job is fixing problems; when patients come in with an issue he can resolve to get them back to enjoying life to their fullest. Nathan focuses on educating patients on how our hearing system works and useful everyday hearing aid knowledge.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Nathan spends his time raising plants and children and playing bagpipes in the Indianapolis 500 Gordon Pipers band.
Amanda Martin
Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee
Amanda Martin is a Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee. Amanda is from Rushville, IN. She attended Marian College and started working at the Shelbyville, IN and Franklin, IN clinics in 2024. Amanda was drawn to the profession because of her mother’s struggle with hearing loss. She wanted to be able to learn more about how to help her mother, and others, reach a better quality of life.
What Amanda loves most about saving hearing lives is witnessing the joy and relief of those patients who are new hearing aid users. Amanda strives to listen and care for patients with compassion and understanding, to help enhance their knowledge of the hearing aid industry, and to provide them with the options that are available to them in her everyday work with patients.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Amanda can be found spending time with her son and enjoys watching him play football and baseball. Amanda also enjoys concerts, comedy shows, and spending time with family and friends.
