Matthew worked as a licensed hearing aid specialist in Champaign, Illinois and in Chicago, IL. Since 2016, Matthew joined Indiana Hearing Aid company after relocating with his family back to the Indianapolis area.
“I feel called to the hearing healthcare arena. I enjoy it because you get to meet people, help people, and I get to learn about all the latest hearing aid technology,” he said. “I love helping people hear better and see them enjoy life more with better hearing. Honestly, it’s addictive.”
Having worked in tech support, Matthew loves his career in the hearing sciences because it combines his love of technology with his passion for helping people. “I love learning about new technology, and I enjoy reconnecting people with their loved ones – so they can rediscover the joy of life through better hearing.” Matthew and his wife have four children. Matthew is a soccer coach and a chauffer for his kids’ sports activities.
Amanda Martin is a Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee. Amanda is from Rushville, IN. She attended Marian College and started working at the Shelbyville, IN and Franklin, IN clinics in 2024. Outside of saving hearing lives, Amanda can be found spending time with her son and enjoys watching him play football and baseball. Amanda also enjoys concerts, comedy shows, and spending time with family and friends.
